DESCRIPTION:Join the VA Suicide Prevention Team and Substance Use Disorder Treatment Team in the Farber Forum for a special screening of the PBS episode “Veterans in Recovery: Voices of Hope – The Rugged Road to Recovery.” \nFollowing the episode\, Ed Walsh\, LCSW\, U.S. Army (Retired) and UMA alumnus\, will facilitate an open discussion on recovery and resources. Veterans will share their perspectives on topics including: \n\n\nTransitioning from military to civilian life \n\n\nRebuilding and reconnecting with loved ones \n\n\nRecovery from mental health and substance use disorders \n\n\nFinding overall well-being \n\n\nThis event embodies the spirit of empowerment and resilience\, offering an opportunity to connect with stories of triumph over adversity.
