DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun day trip to Boston! \nThe trip costs $20 for registered UMA students and $40 for non-students (UMA employees/alumni/guests\, with a limit of 1 guest per person)\, which covers round-trip\, coach bus transportation to/from Boston only. DESCRIPTION:The UMA Mental Health and Human Services Student Club is hosting another Speaker Series this semester. On Friday\, September 26th\, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.\, we are welcoming Tess Parks from Maine Recovery Action Project. She will be talking about two topics: (1) the importance of using appropriate language to help reduce stigma for individuals with a history of substance use disorders (SUD) and (2) the Maine Good Samaritan Law\, what it does\, and who it’s meant to protect. \nAll members of the UMA community (faculty\, students\, staff) are invited to join us for our virtual speaker series.
