DESCRIPTION:Join us at the UMA Augusta campus for the 36th Maine Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony\, held during Women’s History Month. \nThe 2026 inductees are: \n\nDr. Alane O’Connor\, Director of Perinatal Addiction Medicine at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center and a statewide leader in addiction medicine\nFrances Perkins (posthumous)\, the first woman to serve in a U.S. presidential cabinet and architect of major New Deal programs including Social Security and worker protections\n\nThe public event begins with a reception in the Danforth Gallery at 1:00 PM followed by the induction ceremony in the Farber Forum at 2:00 PM\, and installation of the portraits in the Bennett D. Katz Library immediately following the ceremony. \nTo attend\, RSVP by March 15 to mainewomenshalloffame@gmail.com. Snow date is March 22. \nBusiness and Professional Women/Maine Futurama Foundation established the Maine Women’s Hall of Fame. The Bennett D.
