Students can now join Â鶹APP Esports Varsity Teams or the Esports Club to compete against other colleges & universities in the Eastern College Athletic Conference, or just play casually with friends in the Labyrinth Arena.

The Hearthstone Team at the Â鶹APP were the Runner-Ups during the Fall 2024 season.

It was an exciting end to the fall season especially competing against much larger colleges and universities within the Eastern College Athletic Conference. The team was close to achieving this again during the Spring 2025 season. They are excited and preparing to compete again during the Fall 2025 season.

A special thanks to Kayden Ames who led this team during the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 seasons!

There was a presentation of drones, fixed wing aircraft, and practicing flying on the simulators. Then, everyone headed down to UMA Saco Center for Pizza!

This week, these JMG middle schoolers are visiting UMA Augusta and the MLT Lab, along with interviews with athletics coaches and players. Even a meeting with Esports Coach Ben Bucklin is part of the upcoming tour.

In May, these curious JMG students will be visiting the Vet Tech program and Dental labs on our UMA Bangor campus.

They are entering into their second round in the next week.

The UMA Heathstone Team is part of the UMA ESports Program. Hearthstone is a digital collectible card game set within the Warcraft Universe. It is played exclusively in a one versus one format. When players compete they select a hero from one of eleven classes. Decks can include cards that feature a variety of creatures, spells, and other things.
