SUMMARY:Thorne Memorial Campus Clean Up Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Thorne Memorial Campus Clean Up Day on the Augusta and Bangor campuses. \nHelp us welcome spring by participating in our annual campus clean-up after a long Maine winter! Volunteers are invited to join us on either the Augusta or Bangor campus. Activities may include raking\, mulching\, picking up debris\, and other outdoor projects to help refresh our campus spaces. \nLunch will be provided to volunteers: Participants who sign up by the deadline will receive a Moose Café lunch voucher. We encourage you to use your voucher on the day of the event and enjoy lunch together as a community from 12 – 1 pm. DESCRIPTION:The UMA Student Research Conference is an opportunity for students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members to come together to share our work across disciplines and programs and to learn more about a variety of topics\, including this year’s academic theme\, Civil Rights.  \nThis conference will include student presentations of their work on a variety of subjects and in a variety of formats. These presentations (as well as other opportunities for collaboration and learning) will take place in real-time on Friday\, April 24th (via Zoom and in-person)\, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. \nMore information about the conference (including submission details\, locations\, registration info\, and the presentation schedule) will be available on the Conference Website.
